This is a future private development of general aviation T-hangars built by Fort Developers & Contractors LLC under a land lease contract with the City of Temple.
These hangars will be owned and managed by KTPL Hangars LLC, and made available to the general aviation public on a first come, first serve basis. You can guarantee a first right of refusal for a hangar lease by filling out the form below if you are in the first group of 28 (the number of units to be built in phase I). 
We hope to start development process in the Summer of 2027.

Premium Hangar Locations

Our T-hangars will be located as shown above on the west side of airport property with direct access to the newly improved taxi lane to the north of our site connecting the area to the rest of the airport.

Our T-hangars are built with the following features:
  • 42.5 foot door opening by 14 foot height
  • Front 'T' section is 18 feet deep, back 'T' section is another 18 feet deep for a total depth of 36 feet
  • Electronic Door Coded Lock
  • Fully Insulated
  • HiBay high intensity LED lighting
  • Exterior security lighting and cameras
  • Community shared pilot lounge with bathroom and wifi access

Development will be built out in phases starting with the largest building on the east side (right most building in the drawing above). This building will contain approximately 28 T-Hangar units. Additional building will be built as demand dictates.

if you are interested in pre-leasing your unit please fill out the form below:

  • No deposit necessary.
  • We will select tenants from this list at the time of pre-lease.
  • We will contact you once construction is scheduled to begin. If you are still interested, we will offer you a lease agreement and collect your deposit.
  • Leases will be minimum of 1 year. Rates expected in the $700-$900/mo range.
